The Dufour 425 Grand Large has been describe as a high-volume modern-styled fast cruiser with touches of flair and performance. The Dufour 425 Grand Large has great accommodation featuring 3 cabins, 2 heads and a generous sized saloon with longitudinal galley. She also has a wide cockpit with central table that acts as a good foot brace when beating to weather and a twin-wheel arrangement allowing a helmsman to perch at either rail and trim a nearby jib sheet. Crazy Bear is well spec’d including the optional larger 55HP engine making for excellent passage making even if the wind isn’t in your favour, this along side her sailing performance when it is and comfortable interior means spending time on her is joy whether you are in or out of port.

Large Sociable Teak laid cockpit, access to bathing platform with swim ladder. Twin helm position, varnished drop leaf cockpit table, 2 cockpit lockers, Teak laid side decks and foredeck. Companion way into open saloon finished in Moabi mahogany. To Starboard is the chart table, hinged for chart storage beneath, Cream leather navigation seat and instrumentation. Aft is one of two aft cabins, large double berth, hanging locker and shelf, side access to the engine compartment. Opposite the chart table is the head, with manual sea toilet, sink with pull out shower head, bulk head mounted mirror. Aft of the head is the second of the aft double cabins with direct access to the head.
Moving forward to starboard is the saloon with U shaped seating and double bench seat finished in a faux suede cream upholstery around the saloon table. Opposite is the longitudinal galley featuring: Double Sink, 130L fridge, oven with grill and 3 burner gas hob, plus plenty of storage in the shape of lockers and drawers.
Further forward is the master cabin with settees port and starboard, island double berth and en-suite with manual sea toilet, vanity unit with sink and separate shower.

She has full service history in my ownership of which we have owned her for almost 10 Years. She sails really well and can easily be sailed short handed. After a great 10 years sailing the boat is for sale as we have decided to move on.
